Job Purpose

  • Provide technician support for testing power supplies and transformers.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Test and qualify AC/AC transformers and AC/DC power supplies

Required Qualifications

  • Proficient in the use of current test equipment; i.e. oscilloscopes, Variable/Programmable AC and DC power supplies, and meters

At least 2 years electronics industry experience

Requirements

  • Associate degree, specialization, and/or certifications in electronics technology or equivalent
  • Experience with qualifying transformers and power supplies for use in production
  • Familiar with UL certification and regulations
  • Familiar with power supply protection classes (I,II,1,2 etc)
  • Understands how transformers and power supplies are assembled/constructed
  • Hands-on (soldering) ability
